Help families impacted by deadly Texas wildfires

Families evacuated, homes destroyed, and lives lost. Today, deadly wildfires continue to spread across the Texas Panhandle — including the Smokehouse Creek Fire which has become the largest in state history.

We’re responding immediately to our neighbors in their time of need. But your help is urgently needed in the wake of disasters across our nation.

World Vision is partnering with the West Texas District Church of the Nazarene to help families by distributing essentials like clean water, diapers, hygiene products, storage containers, bedding, generators, and more.
 

Supporting disaster-affected communities in the U.S.

World Vision is positioned and equipped to respond to disasters across the United States, including in fire-devastated areas like Texas and Hawaii. World Vision equips the local church to be the hands and feet of Jesus and bear witness to the gospel through our joint response, helping bring urgent care and lasting hope.

When we all work together, children and families in the U.S. can both recover and rebuild from devastating disasters. Recently, our Storehouse in North Texas — our primary U.S. disaster relief hub — sustained major storm damage and we are working to rebuild, restock, and get our response capabilities back to full strength. Natural disasters and emergencies deliver the heaviest blows to the most vulnerable—especially children and those already struggling to meet daily needs.

Your gift will provide emergency aid like hygiene products, bedding, and other supplies to those affected by disasters across the U.S. — like the fires in Texas — helping people get through today and to a place where they can rebuild their lives.
