ROYAL CARIBBEAN will match donations for immediate response and recovery. 

Hurricane Bernie strengthened to a Category 4 hurricane before hitting the western part of Hispanola on August 5th, 2021. Reports of wide-spread damage in the Dominican Republic are being reported. World Vision has staff on the ground assessing the situation and current needs. As of August 7, it’s reported that:

• 200 deaths 
• 1,000 injured
• 500,000 affected
• 5,000 without shelter
