One in five children in the United States lives in a family struggling with poverty.  As unemployment persists and safety networks fray,  World Vision and its community partners are working tirelessly to help ensure children and families in the United States receive the vital basics they need.

Across the country, companies, churches, schools, and groups of all kinds are rolling up their sleeves and hosting SchoolTools events to provide basic school supplies to help U.S. children in poverty. Providing children with their own school supplies builds self-esteem and also frees up family resources for other essentials such as food, medicine, and utilities.

YOU can help make a difference!

By setting up a fundraising page and getting your friends and family involved, you will collect donations to fund your SchoolTools Kit assembly event. Thus, helping provide new backpacks full of essential school supplies to at-risk children.
