HELP PROVIDE URGENT RELIEF AND LONG-TERM RECOVERY

On September 15, Typhoon Mangkhut lashed North Luzon, and the city of Baggao, Cagayan was one of the hardest hit areas. The typhoon then moved to other areas of Luzon. Its heavy rains and strong winds caused massive destruction. As residents gradually return home, officials already have reported 23 deaths and 21 injured. Almost 350,000 families in 3,780 villages have been displaced. Livelihoods have been destroyed as rice fields and corn plantations -- the main sources of income for the majority of the population -- were wiped away by the strong winds and floodwater.

In the coming days, staff will assess the immediate needs and long-term recovery. Your gift can help those affected by disasters like Typhoon Mangkhut.
