Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief - Team World Vision

Donate To This Campaign

Today, you can help PROVIDE RELIEF TO U.S. FAMILIES DEVASTATED BY HURRICANE HARVEY

Hundreds of thousands of survivors are in need of disaster assistance after Hurricane Harvey devastated Texas on Saturday. Heavy rain and massive flooding are expected to continue for several days. We are working with churches and other partners to distribute emergency relief supplies and aid to the hardest hit communities.

give

Donate to help provide emergency supplies like food and water, temporary shelter, first aid supplies, hygiene kits with soap, shampoo, and diapers, clothing, and more. Products will be distributed via local churches, partners and community leaders in Texas.

How is World Vision responding?

As the Category 4 storm approached land, World Vision began shipping relief goods from four of its field sites across the United States. The items are scheduled to arrive at the agency’s North Texas warehouse Monday from warehouses in Fife, Washington; Chicago; Philippi, West Virginia; and Grand Prairie, Texas.

“We’ve been responding to emergencies in the U.S. for decades,” says Reed Slattery, World Vision’s national program director for the United States. “We want to make sure to get these relief supplies down there as quickly as possible to help the children and families affected by this storm.”
