Recent hurricanes devastated parts of Houston, many cities in Florida, and most of Puerto Rico. Families lost homes because of flooding. In Puerto Rico, millions are still without power and rebuilding could take years.

While American families struggle, we are reminded of those around the globe facing a crisis as well, especially in East Africa. With the looming threat of famine in parts of Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Somalia, tens of thousands of children could starve to death because of food and water shortages.
