Obtaining a quality education is the foundation to improving people's lives and sustainable development. Major progress has been made toward increasing access to education at all levels and increasing enrollment rates in schools particularly for women and girls. Basic literacy skills have improved tremendously, yet bolder efforts are needed to make even greater strides for achieving universal educational goals. For example, the world achieved equality in primary education between girls and boys, but few countries have achieved that target at all levels of education.

YOU can help change that!

By setting up a fundraising page and getting your network involved, you will help families build a future free from poverty that can last for generations to come.

Join us in reaching out to these vulnerable children right now by starting your own fundraiser.

World Vision comes alongside local governments to strengthen formal education systems and is a leader in providing informal educational opportunities for children. These opportunities include learning activities outside of school hours in regions where children need additional educational support, have been out of school, or are unable to access formal education. World Vision's work includes supporting curriculum-based learning, providing learning tools and supplies, training teachers, facilitating community-based education programs that help children develop essential life skills, and encouraging families and communities to actively support children's educational opportunities.
